Senior Engineer, Data Engineering

Sibling is looking for a freelance Senior Data Engineer to support the development and enhancement of a digital twin platform used in supply chainsAs a Senior Data Engineer, you will design and optimise data integration pipelines that feed a graph-based data model. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless ingestion, transformation, and performance of large-scale supply chain datasets in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance a data integration framework supporting a graph data model.Integrate complex, multi-source supply chain data into scalable pipelines.Optimise big data processing performance and ensure scalability.Build and improve ETL processes using modern cloud-based tools.Contribute high-quality, maintainable code and technical documentation.Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and functional experts.Lead data workstreams and provide guidance to junior team members where needed.

Profile

~5+ years of experience in data engineering (cloud/product environments preferred).~ Strong ETL and big data expertise.~ Hands-on experience with Scala/Python~ Experience with platforms such as Databricks, Azure Synapse, or similar.~ Solid understanding of system design, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).~ Fluent in French or Dutch & English

Engagement Details
