Senior Fullstack Developer – Java / Angular (LeSS)

Our client, a major player in the transport and infrastructure sector, is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer to join a large-scale agile environment. The role involves developing mission‑critical applications for rail infrastructure management and traffic planning, ensuring high availability and system reliability through modern software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement scalable and efficient software solutions within a Large Scale Scrum (LeSS) framework.
• Translate complex functional requirements into robust technical designs and architectural decisions.
• Develop new features using modern Java and Angular frameworks while maintaining high code quality in a shared repository.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure stable and reliable software delivery across environments.
• Perform technical analysis, bugfixing, and troubleshooting in collaboration with multiple cross‑functional teams.
• Mentor and coach junior and medior developers to foster continuous technical growth and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

• You have 10+ years of experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• You bring 5+ years of backend development expertise using Java 21 , Spring Framework , Spring Boot 3+ , and Hexagonal Architecture .
• You possess 5+ years of experience with Angular 19 and modern frontend development.
• You have 5+ years of experience with quality assurance practices including TDD , JUnit , Mockito , and ISTQB Foundation .
• You bring 5+ years of experience with data persistence using Hibernate , JPA , and SQL databases like PostgreSQL or Oracle .
• You're experienced with delivery and collaboration tools including Git , Jenkins , Artifactory , JIRA , and Confluence .
• You possess 5+ years of experience with Oracle Certified Professional or Associate standards for Java SE 8 .
• You have 2+ years of experience contributing to large-scale IT projects and complex software ecosystems.
• You're proactive, solution-oriented, and demonstrate strong communication and coaching skills.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch (C1) with intermediate knowledge (B1) of the other language and proficiency in English (C1).

Nice to Haves

• Experience with LeSS (Large Scale Scrum) implementations.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and Miro for collaborative design.
• Experience with on-premises software deployment and release management.
• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call standby rotation for business-critical applications.
