Senior Java Software Engineer

For one of our largest clients in Brussels, we are looking for an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer who wants to contribute to building stable and future-proof applications within a complex IT environment.

Your role

You will work in a Scrum environment and play a key role in the technical development and quality of software solutions. You will collaborate closely with different Scrum teams and actively contribute to the evolution of the applications.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Technical analysis: Translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions
• Development: Build scalable and efficient solutions in Java (Spring Framework, Angular)
• Maintenance & support: Optimize and support existing applications
• Bug fixing & troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve technical issues in collaboration with other teams
• Test automation: Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Documentation: Keep technical documentation and architectural decisions up to date
• Deployment & releases: Install and deploy new software versions in an on-premise environment
• Code quality: Ensure clean code, SOLID principles, and security best practices
• Coaching: Support junior and medior developers and actively contribute to knowledge sharing

Profile

We are looking for a senior profile with strong technical and communication skills.

Technical skills:

• Strong experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Angular
