Your Mission

As a Simulator Maintenance Engineer, you’ll ensure the operational reliability of the advanced simulator systems, which are essential for delivering realistic and effective training to the pilots.

You’ll collaborate closely with a skilled team of engineers, technicians, operational planning and interact daily with the pilots themselves.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Resolve simulator hardware/software issues, manage networks, use diagnostic tools.
• Installation & Configuration: Set up hardware and software, perform updates.
• Preventive Maintenance & Inspections: Conduct system checks, apply patches, perform backups, and proactive repairs.
• Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Maintain logs, suggest improvements, stay up to date with technical standards.
• Compliance & Security: Follow strict security protocols in a secured military environment.
• Operational involvement: Be the primary point of contact for pilots and mission planners to ensure the simulators are operational when needed.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronics, IT, or a technical field.
• Experience with complex systems is a plus – but motivation and eagerness to learn are even more important
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with excellent communication skills in English.
• Need to undergo a top-secret clearance procedure.
• You thrive working in a structured military environment

• We are recruiting candidates to be stationed at Florennes Military Base
• We are recruiting candidates to be stationed at Kleine Brogel Military Base
• During training period (first 6-8 months), you’ll be based in our Kuurne office and may travel to international client sites..
