Job Description The Transversal Team develops and maintains the platforms, services, and libraries used by our DevOps teams. We provide dedicated support to help them adopt and master the platforms, both in Azure and on-premise container environments.

In this role, you will design and implement solutions/products end-to-end that affect multiple cross-cutting domains. You will demonstrate extensive technical and coaching skills and manage multiple projects of varying size and scope. You will master the entire technology stack of the system and have a high level of understanding of the technical and functional architecture and infrastructure landscape.

You will research new technologies, identify opportunities and share your insights within the technology organization. You know and question engineering standards, principles, guidelines and frameworks (performance, security, reusability, scalability, sustainability, devsecops).

You will design, code and test complex cross-domain solutions/products end-to-end in a context-rich environment with many stakeholders. You will develop the architecture to support future requirements and define the SLAs. You foresee problems instead of solving them and set up monitoring, such as performance, resource use and security.

You will demonstrate excellent judgment regarding decisions on many technological aspects of the project. You reduce the complexity of projects/services/processes to get more work done with less effort. You advise the business on the technical feasibility of new ideas and ensure that documentation/knowledge transfer is available.

You communicate with non-technical team members, recognize important risks and manage dependencies. You are available in the event of incidents and perform on-call services if necessary.

You lead team members functionally by providing effective feedback, coordinating activities, and moderating discussions. You will act as a servant leader and coach. You determine work assignments, coach employees and (senior) engineers and have a clear overview of team priorities.

You adapt the team processes, listen to feedback and guide the team through changes. You constantly reflect on and improve behavior. You are aware of strategic needs and priorities and have an impact on the entire technology organization within a product area.

You will act as a technical lead in transversal projects and act as an ambassador for the technology department.
