My client is seeking a Web Service API Developer to help build innovative, scalable, and high‐performance software solutions.

You will join a dynamic, tech‐curious team working with Scrum, DevOps, and CI/CD to deliver modern digital services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve APIs and Web Services for the ABIS platform
• Build high‐quality REST APIs enabling data exchange across police applications and external partners
• Collaborate with frontend and backend developers on technical analysis and solution design
• Contribute to backend development using PHP, Python, and JavaScript
• Optionally support UI development (HTML, CSS, JS)
• Work in a modern DevOps environment using GitLab, CI/CD, and agile delivery practices

• PHP development — Confirmed (Expert level)

Languages

• French or Dutch (passive knowledge of the second required)
• English

Working Conditions

• Minimum 2 days/week on‐site in Brussels (depending on tasks)
• Teleworking permitted within Belgium
• Work within a multidisciplinary team of internal and external collaborators
