In the world of ICT it's hard not be an enthousiast with technologies evolving at an unprecedented pace. I am thrilled to be on this evolution roller coaster. I feel especially at home in the world of web development and web technologies in general. I was originally bitten by React and its ecosystem like no other framework has and I am hooked ever since (pun intended).
After successfully constructing own solution designs, thinking out of the box, and instigating a new MFE architecture from draft to the first line of code, ending with a fully deployed MFE architecture raising millions in revenue I have outgrown my developer role.
I have now started my journey in Architecture as a Domain Architect at Gaming1. Here I can continue to do what I do best... Training, coaching and out of the box thinking to bridge the gap between business needs and the developers, all the while bringing out the best in them to watch them grow in their own carreer path
Next to that I am also a weather enthousiast beholding the weather in all its glory with a keen interest in Data visualisation and photograph

Overseen multiple launches of new operations by guiding teams in creation and maintenance of web and mobile channels.

Pulling the Belgian web-team forward in using the most recent UI technologies by both group and 1-1 training, knowledge transfer sessions and support.
Maintaining and improving the React TUI-UI library to be used by all developers for all markets by adding and refactoring components aiming at a fast transition to the OSP.
Spearheaded research in breaking the application monolith up into a microservice / microfrontend architecture by setting up the guidelines for the transition into said architecture, creating multiple POC’s and solution designs to finalize a solution going forward.
A main driver in cross team hackathons and kt-sessions on how to develop their own microfrontends by acting as a consultant for all pods, teams and markets.
Aided in development of several MFE’s from the first line of code to deployment on AWS-services, having their own CICD pipeline and infrastructure through code.

Responsible to migrate the loosely attached google drive documents into a complete internal application and infrastructure to handle customer accounts and courses.
Created a solid database using a NoSQL solution to start Data migration into a database to work with.
Set up a failover cluster infrastructure to deploy the new application, using MS Server 2016 Hyper V core and installing Virtual machines as ADDS, file- and webservers.
Written a complete full stack application using React-Redux in the frontend and providing various API’s using NodeJS & ExpressJS while working closely with business to adhere to their needs and setting up an agile environment to start work.
Doing job interviews to have new talent join the effort and onboarding them into the new application by both infrastructure, development and agile training.
