My name is Flavia, I am 22 and interested in working as a barista at Starbucks. I enjoy working with people and I am friendly, energetic, and eager to learn.
I have experience in hospitality and retail, which taught me how to work in busy environments, help customers, and work well in a team.
I am interested in job opportunity because I like coffee culture and I would love to be part of a friendly and fast paced team. There are two Starbucks locations in Ghent, and both are easily accessible for me. 18 minutes by bike or around 10 minutes by bus, so commuting is no issue.
I have experience in hospitality as a waiter and bar staff, where I learned to work in busy, fast-paced environments and developed strong customer service and teamwork skills. I also worked in retail at Stradivarius and Action, where I was responsible for customer service, cashier work, restocking products, and keeping the store organized and presentable. I also have experience in different fields that are not directly related to hospitality.
These experiences helped me develop adaptability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to quickly learn new tasks and environments.
