I am a driven and highly communicative engineer with a passion for innovation who wants to contribute to a more sustainable future
During my experience as PhD student in Chemical Engineerin at the Laboratory for Chemical Technology of the University of Ghent (LCT-UGENT), I have managed several research projects related to steam cracking/pyrolysis and the use of advanced analytics, for instance refinery gas analysis (RGA) and comprehensive gas chromatography (GCxGC-FID/TOF-MS). Moreover, I have worked in close collaboration with our industrial partners and I have mentored new bachelor, masters and PhD students.

Experimental studies to assess the olefin yields and fouling behaviour of conventional and renewable feedstocks in steam cracking
Coordinating studies on advanced materials for fouling reduction in collaboration with major reactor manufacturers and olefin producers
Mentoring MSc students in the Industrial Project Course and assisting other educational activities
