afriQA (formally QAT International) October 2021 – Present Test Specialist I joined afriQA as a graduate QA Consultant and after a comprehensive training programme culminating in ISTQB foundation and ISTQB Advanced certifications, I was placed with several companies as a QA Consultant and some of my responsibilities included.

• Analyzing client requirements for completeness and designing both manual and automated test cases/scripts • Executing both Manual and automated test • Logging and managing defects in Jira and Quality Center • Attending defect triages and occasional chairing defect triage meetings • Liaising extensively with third parties during defect triages to obtain and update defect details.

• Liaising extensively with the business to support UAT.

• Attended daily scrum meetings and other agile ceremonies and contributing as necessary.

• Participated in effort estimates for each stage of the software development lifecycle and delivered multiple successful releases.

Flamingo January 2020 - October 2021 Test Analyst I was engaged by Flamingo as a Test Analyst and worked on several of its core applications and apps. Flamingo is a resident engagement platform that integrates with dozens of tools including Yardi, RealPage & Entrata. Some of my responsibilities included.

• Understanding the application and apps to be tested by reviewing requirements/use cases and functional specifications including walkthroughs with project teams.

• Writing both Manual and automated test cases • Manually testing core application to ensure functionality has been implemented.

• Participated in the prioritization of test cases when deadlines were shortened due to blocking problems.

• Contributing to the design of test steps and SQL queries in the QC test plan module • Executing test cases in quality center.

• Performing defect management in quality center • Using SQL queries to run application database tests.

• Participating in the preparation of daily status report, weekly status report and error reports • Participation in the regular review of the work package test cases • Creating regression test suite.

• Creation of a traceability matrix in different phases • Managing test data for web and client-server applications.
