Rachel Stewart

A multilingual Design Graduate with over a year of experience in the retail industry. Equipped with interpersonal skills and fluent in English, French and Italian. I can deliver unmatched customer service, build strong customer relationships and increase sales through effective promotion. Currently, I have graduated with a BA Hons in Design at Goldsmiths University of London; where I hope to work in the industry.

Both inside and outside of my workplace I am: creative, attentive to detail, communicative, collaborative, independent and highly adaptable. My design approach tends towards the holistic as I believe that design should feed not only the eyes but the soul. I'm passionate about building community through encouraging empathy and trust in order to meet the needs of the clients.

During my studies my appreciation for nature and organic materials has fuelled my creativity when responding to my design briefs and led me to further research into craft-led textiles such as weaving and producing bioplastic. My work spans across community, mythology, wellbeing, and the interweaving of language and visual imagery. My key aims are bringing people together, celebrating and cultivating soothing environments and highlighting the need for mindful communication to encourage an inclusive workspace.
