The Opportunity

You will take ownership of a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) backend, designing scalable APIs that bridge LLMs with enterprise document data. This role is perfect for a backend expert who thrives on building secure, grounded AI systems that deliver high-quality, traceable insights.

What You’ll Do

• Build & Scale: Engineer robust FastAPI services for complex search and AI Q&A workflows.
• Innovate: Develop hybrid retrieval pipelines (semantic keyword) and integrate LLMs for evidence-based responses.
• Secure: Implement enterprise-grade authentication and group-based authorization for sensitive data.
• Operate: Manage containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) with a focus on system observability.

What You Bring

• Experience: 5 years in backend engineering; a solid track record of delivering production-grade systems.
• Core Tech: Expert-level Python (FastAPI); deep understanding of REST APIs and microservices.
• AI/Search: Proven experience with RAG, LLM integration, and vector/hybrid search platforms (e.g., Azure AI Search).
• Cloud/Infra: Hands-on experience with Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Mindset: A collaborative spirit with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
