We’re looking for a

• *DevOps-focused Platform Engineer**

to build, evolve, and support

• *secure, highly available Azure platforms**

powering modern, containerised applications. You’ll sit at the heart of cloud delivery — combining

• *infrastructure, automation, observability, and DevOps practices**

to create resilient platforms that engineering teams can trust.

From re-architecting legacy workloads to enabling cloud-native microservices, this role gives you real influence over

• *how platforms are designed, deployed, and operated**

at enterprise scale.

• *What You’ll Be Doing**

You’ll design and support the platforms that underpin our cloud-first strategy, including:

• Designing, implementing, and supporting hyperscale Azure architectures
• Building and operating container platforms and orchestration tooling in production
• Enabling enterprise-grade application architectures, including API gateways, high availability, load balancing, and disaster recovery
• Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including production deployments
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code to provision and manage platforms consistently
• Using configuration management and package/dependency tooling to standardise environments
• Integrating observability tooling to ensure platforms are measurable, reliable, and performant
• Applying DevOps tools and practices to on-premise workloads, not just cloud-native services
• Supporting and delivering workload migrations between on-premise and hyperscale cloud environments
• Re-architecting applications to operate effectively in cloud-native and containerised environments
• Consulting across squads to embed DevOps best practices and improve delivery maturity
• Troubleshooting platform, infrastructure, and application performance issues

• Microsoft Azure
• Containers and orchestration platforms (e.g. Kubernetes)
• CI/CD tooling and release automation
• Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform)

• Observability platforms (commercial or open source)
• Enterprise networking and on-premise infrastructure
