Citrix Administrator – XenApp & Wintel Support

🕒 Work Model: 7am - 7pm (8 hours shifts possible on- call/ Full Remote / Hybrid)

💼 Role Summary:

You will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise Citrix environments, Wintel servers, and virtualization platforms. The role demands strong troubleshooting skills, operational discipline, and experience with Citrix application delivery and VDI solutions.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

✅ Install, configure, and manage Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop (7.x)

✅ Manage Citrix XenServer farms with High Availability across sites

✅ Create and manage VMs/clones using Provisioning Services (PVS)

✅ Support StoreFront, NetScaler (Gateway, certificates, authentication)

✅ Publish applications via Citrix Studio and resolve user issues

✅ Troubleshoot Citrix client, profile, and performance issues

✅ Manage user profiles using Ivanti DesktopNow (UWM)

✅ Support VDI deployments, image management, and UX optimization

✅ Perform lifecycle maintenance, backups, hotfixes, and upgrades

✅ Handle ServiceNow tickets (Incidents, Requests, Changes)

✅ Participate in after‑hours change implementations and on‑call support

🛠️ Mandatory Skills

✔ Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop 7.x administration

✔ Citrix XenServer, PVS, StoreFront, NetScaler

✔ Ivanti DesktopNow (User Workspace Manager)

✔ Windows Server OS (2008 / 2012 / 2016)

✔ VMware vCenter – provisioning & troubleshooting

✔ Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

⭐ Preferred / Advanced Skills

➕ Advanced Citrix PVS & StoreFront configuration

➕ Experience managing HA Citrix farms across multiple sites

➕ Citrix Workspace & NetScaler Gateway configurations

➕ Exposure to F5 load balancers and XenMobile (EMM)

➕ VDI image creation and maintenance
