Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Data Quality and Integrity

Implement validation, cleansing, and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.

Develop automated data quality checks using SQL, Python, and PySpark to identify and resolve issues within pipelines.

Apply data modeling principles and strong data management practices to maintain consistent, well-structured datasets.

Data Pipeline and Platform Management

Design and optimize scalable data pipelines using SQL, Python/PySpark, and distributed computing frameworks.

Implement modern data platform patterns such as Medallion Architecture and Lakehouse architecture for structured data ingestion and transformation.

Maintain data platforms and infrastructure to ensure performance, scalability, and operational stability.

Collaboration and Documentation

Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and product teams within Agile environments to deliver reliable data solutions.

Maintain clear documentation for data pipelines, architectures, and engineering processes. Nice to Have

Basic understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their integration with data platforms.

Familiarity with Genie AI/BI capabilities and Agentic AI patterns for data interaction and analytics automation.
