Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Data Quality and Integrity

• Implement validation, cleansing, and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Develop automated data quality checks using SQL, Python, and PySpark to identify and resolve issues within pipelines.
• Apply data modeling principles and strong data management practices to maintain consistent, well-structured datasets.

Data Pipeline and Platform Management

• Design and optimize scalable data pipelines using SQL, Python/PySpark, and distributed computing frameworks.
• Implement modern data platform patterns such as Medallion Architecture and Lakehouse architecture for structured data ingestion and transformation.
• Maintain data platforms and infrastructure to ensure performance, scalability, and operational stability.

Collaboration and Documentation

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and product teams within Agile environments to deliver reliable data solutions.
• Maintain clear documentation for data pipelines, architectures, and engineering processes.

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their integration with data platforms.
• Familiarity with Genie AI/BI capabilities and Agentic AI patterns for data interaction and analytics automation.

Recommended Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate or Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate
• SAFe Practitioner (SP)
