We are seeking a quality-focused, detail-oriented Data Scientist with a proven ability to deliver data-driven solutions that support critical business objectives and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is a strong analytical thinker and problem solver who can translate complex business requirements into actionable data solutions while delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
Map and validate data elements for ETL processes.
Optimize and maintain data models to support both new initiatives and existing systems.
Generate and support deployment of physical database structures (DDL).
Identify and resolve data integration challenges across multiple systems.
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements and recommend solutions.
Provide guidance to analysts, developers, and engineers regarding system capabilities, limitations, interfaces, and performance requirements.
Support data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics, statistical modeling, forecasting, and machine learning techniques.
Develop impactful visualizations and reports to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
Significant experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, or related technical roles.
Hands-on experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin and Visio.
Experience working with large datasets and enterprise analytics platforms.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
Advanced experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, R Shiny, Plotly, or D3.js.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Expertise in statistics, econometrics, forecasting, machine learning, geospatial analysis, or related analytical disciplines.
Proficiency in Python and/or R.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage priorities, facilitate discussions, and drive outcomes independently.
Strong presentation, leadership, and organizational skills.
Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and/or Master Data Management (MDM) implementations.
Knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL, Business Objects, Tableau, and other reporting tools.
Experience with Business Intelligence solutions and reporting frameworks.
Knowledge of ITIL, service management, and process management practices.
Familiarity with Stata, C++, MS Access, and Crystal Reports.
Experience implementing data governance, information security, and reporting solutions.
Knowledge of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) implementations.
Experience with GIS tools such as QGIS or ArcGIS for spatial analysis.
Professional certifications such as IIBA, ITIL Foundation, or similar credentials are an advantage.
Strong business acumen combined with technical expertise.
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus across teams.
Passion for solving complex data challenges and delivering high-quality solutions.
Strong attention to detail, accountability, and ownership from concept through delivery.
