What you’ll do
Being a DevOps Engineer is your chance to join our exciting hub in Sofia - which means you’ll:
Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for services and infrastructure(build, test, security scans, deploy, promote between environments)
Automate deployments for serverless/microservice workloads; define environment promotion rules, rollback strategies, and release gates.
Build and maintain IaC modules/stacks for environments; ensure consistency across dev/test/stage/prod; manage configuration and secrets safely.
Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, and operational runbooks; support incident response and post-incident reviews; drive preventative actions.
Identify and implement cost/performance improvements (right-sizing, retention policies, Lambda tuning, log volume control, efficient architectures).
Who you are
It’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in:
AWS cloud fundamentals and serverless patterns, including typical services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB/RDS, CloudWatch, IAM,SQS/SNS/EventBridge.
CI/CD concepts: pipeline stages, environment promotion, artifact/versioning, release gating, approvals, rollbacks.
Infrastructure as Code concepts: state, modularity, drift detection, environments, secrets management.
Operational excellence: incident management, postmortems, monitoring/alerting design, SLO/SLI concepts
Security best practices in cloud: IAM least privilege, separation of duties, secure networking basics, vulnerability management.
Location – Sofia – Hybrid The role will be hybrid model with the expectation of being in the Sofia office 2-3 days per week as required. Some international travel may also be required occasionally to UK. For any reasonable adjustments and general queries, please get in touch with Costa.Recruitmen
