🎯 THE ROLE: Full Stack developer

This is not a role where you simply maintain existing code. You’ll be building new things, shipping them quickly, seeing how they perform with real users, and taking ownership of the outcome.

You’ll work across the product, backend systems, user interfaces, data processing, legal information search and retrieval, infrastructure, and AI workflows. The goal is simple: to make difficult product problems solvable and get solutions into users’ hands quickly and reliably.

• You’ll design and build parts of the product end to end — backend, user interface, and infrastructure.
• You’ll own new systems from the first version through real-world usage and subsequent scaling.
• You’ll work closely with the people making product decisions so we can ship quickly, gather feedback, and improve immediately.
• You’ll identify problems yourself and solve them rather than waiting for a detailed specification for every step.
• You’ll improve the architecture, performance, and reliability of the systems whenever you see an opportunity to make them better.

👥 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Google Cloud, or similar platforms.
• Good familiarity with modern AI tools and development environments such as Cursor and Claude Code.
• Experience processing large volumes of data, particularly unstructured text.
• Understanding of search and information retrieval systems, including vector databases, embeddings, RAG, and indexing.
• Ability to build from scratch and work comfortably in an environment where not everything is predefined or documented.
• Strong attention to detail and a habit of catching edge cases, bugs, and inconsistencies before they reach users.
• Strong systems and architectural thinking, without adding unnecessary complexity where the right approach is simply to move fast and get things done.
