The Role The Nuvei Implementation

Engineer - API Products Plays a crucial role in contributing to the day-to-day operations and activities of the Technical Operations group. This position requires you to develop a deep knowledge of the Nuvei integration services and environment. You must develop your expertise and knowledge in Nuvei integration API products.

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide advanced technical solutions that support product delivery and new product rollouts. This includes conducting product validation and approval to ensure a high-quality client experience throughout the integration process.

Responsibilities This role requires developing an in-depth understanding of all Nuvei API and integration products, including their functionality, features, and technical specifications. This expertise enables the identification of gaps and supports the creation of new processes and technical enhancements aimed at improving the client onboarding experience for both clients and Nuvei agents utilizing the platform

By fostering innovation, the role goes beyond routine maintenance to actively encourage the adoption of new ideas, technologies, and best practices, enhancing Nuvei's competitive position in the market

Beyond supporting product delivery and new product rollouts, the Implementation Engineer is responsible for performing product sign-off within the sandbox environment. They also assist technical implementation and integration teams by providing practical, valuable support and knowledge to ensure the integration support team operates effectively The Implementation Engineers delivers training to support and customer-facing technical teams, empowering them to better serve clients. Additionally, they contribute to the adoption of new technologies, tools, processes, and procedures aimed at continuously enhancing service quality The Engineer assists the technical implementation, integration support and solution engineering roles, ensuring practical and helpful support and knowledge are provided to Nuvei's client-facing teams

Contribute to adopting new technology, tools, processes, and procedures to enhance our services

Work collaboratively within the team to achieve goals and objectives, providing regular feedback on performance

Contribute to delivering excellent service experiences and participating in strategic programs

Demonstrate support for the corporate mission, core values, and long-term objectives

Provide regular updates and highlight any technical issues to the team Requirements Proven experience in technical support or analysis in an international high-tech company

Solid familiarity with REST API and SDK, understanding technical architecture, APIs, and overall system design

Experience building a query in mysql and sql

Three or more years of relevant experience in a technical role, demonstrating the ability to solve technical issues

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to use data to support assumptions and define metrics

Collaborative thought partnered with the ability to work across multiple team boundaries

Ability to work under stress and pressure; occasional availability after working hours may be required

Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex schemes

Professional level of English; proficiency in another language is an advantage
