Junior JavaScript Fullstack Engineer

What project we have for you

Our team operates at the frontlines of our efforts to support Google and owns the campaign management functionalities that allow users to scale, automate and optimize their ad operations on Google Ads.

Join us in building new end-to-end automation solutions and scaling existing automation pipelines to help our customers automatically launch and iterate their Google advertising.

The team has recently started working with exciting new campaign types within Google Ads and we’re looking to scale up our team to expand our Google Ads offering.

We design, build and maintain client-facing APIs and automation services using, Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, and user interfaces using React for core UI workflows, as well as service integrations to the other project’s infrastructure. From you, we expect solid skills with Node.js, React, and TypeScript.

What you will do

• Assist in the development of server-side applications and services
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
• Work with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools
• Learn and adopt Agile development methodologies
• Understand and implement basic security measures
• Support in managing and resolving application issues
• Participate in the testing of applications
• Assist in the integration of multiple data sources into one system
• Support in deploying web applications
• Assist in optimizing and tuning code for performance and maintainability

What you need for this

• Around 0.5 years of commercial experience as a software engineer with JavaScript, TypeScript
• Knowledge and experience with React.js or Node.js will be a plus
• Understanding of code quality and refactoring practices
• Eager for self-learning as well as for learning from industry experts
• Self-motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented and a strong team player
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Higher Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields
• English level: Intermediate (B1)/ Upper-Intermediate (B2)

Will be a plus:

• Familiar with Mongo or any other non-relational database
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Mocha, Chai, or Jest
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience using modern AI tools for coding productivity
