The Impact You Will Create

• Own the Valkey Integration: You will lead the technical design, architecture, and integration of our new Valkey (and Redis-compatible) managed service into our sovereign cloud ecosystem.
• Automation &
  • DBaaS: You will drive the automation of deployment, replication, backup, and patching processes, turning complex caching infrastructure into a seamless "self-service" model controlled via Golang-based REST/gRPC APIs.

• System Design &
  • Scale: You will design robust, highly available, and fault-tolerant caching solutions, proactively optimizing configurations and capacity to scale with customer demand.

• End-to-End Ownership: We live by "You build it, you run it." You will accompany your services from the first line of code through Kubernetes orchestration to incident analysis (Post-Mortems).
• Technical Leadership: You will guide the technical direction of the product and mentor team members, raising the bar for engineering excellence and modern SRE practices.

Must Haves

• Strong System Design Foundations: You understand how to architect distributed, scalable, and highly available systems.
• Backend &
  • API Engineering: You are proficient in Golang and have a solid track record of building clean, reliable APIs (REST, gRPC) to control infrastructure.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): You feel at home writing clean automation using Terraform or Ansible.
• Continuous Learning Mindset: You are genuinely excited to master our tech stack, dive deep into database internals, and constantly upgrade your technical skills.
• SRE &
  • Observability Culture: You care about reliability, fault tolerance, and know your way around monitoring ecosystems like Prometheus and Grafana.

• Communication: Fluent in English to collaborate effectively within our agile, international team.

Nice To Have

• Caching Database Expertise: Deep understanding of Valkey / Redis architectures, including clustering, high availability setups, and performance tuning.
• Container-Native Landscapes: Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and ideally, Kubernetes Operators for database orchestration.
• Security First: Knowledge of securing data-in-transit/at-rest and network isolation in cloud environments.
