For one of our trusted clients, we are looking for Oracle Database Developer (PL/SQL)
Your role:
As part of our IT team, you will contribute to the development, enhancement and maintenance of critical database solutions supporting core business applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers and support teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
- Develop, maintain and enhance PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers and scripts.
- Diagnose and optimize database objects to improve performance, scalability and maintainability.
- Design, build and test new database functionalities in accordance with business needs.
- Collaborate with application support teams during deployments and assist in troubleshooting production issues.
- Participate in the integration of internal and external systems through APIs and database-driven interfaces.
- Review code and contribute to maintaining high development standards and best practices.
- Investigate database-related incidents and provide sustainable solutions to identified issues.
What we are looking for:
- 3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle database development and PL/SQL programming.
- Solid understanding of database design principles and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with version control systems and development lifecycle practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in database tuning, troubleshooting and performance analysis.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously expand technical expertise.
Nice to have:
- Experience working on insurance-related systems and platforms.
- Knowledge of Oracle APEX.
- Experience with Oracle Forms & Reports 12c.
- Exposure to software deployment and production support activities.
