Platform DevOps Engineer

As a Platform DevOps Engineer, you will build and own the cloud and platform infrastructure behind B2TECH.AI, our new AI-native iGaming platform.

You will design and manage Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, observability, security, and automation for a greenfield platform built for regulated markets and high transaction volumes.

This is a hands-on role with significant ownership. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and product teams, and help shape the platform from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage the cloud foundation across AWS or GCP, including networking, identity, security, Kubernetes, data services, and environment isolation.
• Own infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm, with reusable modules, pull-request workflows, and controlled deployments.
• Build and operate Kubernetes platforms with autoscaling, GitOps, progressive delivery, and gated promotion across environments.
• Manage core platform services, including Kafka, PostgreSQL, identity, secrets management, observability, and edge security.
• Build infrastructure for AI agents, including LLM gateways, agent runtimes, usage metering, and cost and latency monitoring.
• Automate infrastructure operations, alert handling, runbooks, and self-healing workflows with clear escalation paths.
• Embed security, auditability, compliance, and data-residency controls from day one.
• Improve cost visibility, platform efficiency, scalability, and self-service customer provisioning.

Must-Haves

• Proven experience as a DevOps, Platform, or SRE engineer, with hands-on ownership of production infrastructure and Kubernetes environments.
• Strong cloud engineering experience in either AWS or GCP.
• Advanced Terraform knowledge, including reusable modules, remote state, multi-environment architecture, and pull-request-based workflows.
• Strong Kubernetes, GitOps, and CI/CD experience using tools such as EKS or GKE, Argo CD or Flux, Helm, and GitHub Actions.
• Production experience with Kafka and PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, identity, and security fundamentals.
• Hands-on observability and incident-response experience using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and OpenTelemetry.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python and/or Go.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.
• Working proficiency in English.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience across both AWS and GCP.
• Experience with progressive delivery and advanced deployment strategies.
• Proven experience building AI agents, agentic automation, or AI-powered operational workflows, with clear examples of ownership and measurable impact.
• Experience in iGaming, fintech, payments, or other regulated industries.
• Experience with high-throughput systems, compliance engineering, data residency, or FinOps.
