Python Backend Developer with German

Python Backend Developer

We are looking for a Python Backend Developer to join the development and evolution of business-critical systems and integration solutions. This role is well-suited for someone with a strong technical foundation who is interested in understanding business processes and working on real product environments.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and API solutions

· Build and support integrations between internal systems and external platforms

· Work on ETL processes

· Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, reliable technical solutions

· Write automated tests and actively participate in code reviews

· Work in a containerized, cloud-native environment

· Collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders

Technical Requirements

· Strong hands-on knowledge of Python 3.12

· Proven work with Docker in real-world environments

· Familiarity with message broker systems such as RabbitMQ

· Working knowledge of MongoDB or Amazon DocumentDB

· Basic understanding of Kubernetes and how containerized systems are orchestrated

· Building backend APIs with FastAPI (Flask is considered a plus)

· Writing automated tests using pytest

· Good understanding of REST API design principles and backend architecture

Language Requirements

· German — mandatory (minimum B2 working proficiency)

· English — professional working proficiency

Nice to Have

· Experience with ETL systems and data pipelines

· Understanding of business processes

· Experience working in cloud-native production environments
