We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our Data Management team within ART AI Tooling & Platforms. In this role, you will help build and enhance enterprise-scale data management capabilities in Collibra, that empower the organization to discover, govern, and leverage data effectively.
You will work at the intersection of software engineering, automation, integrations, and data governance, developing solutions that support metadata management, workflow automation, and platform integrations. As our Python Software Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Desiging, developing, and maintaining Python-based applications, integrations, and automation solutions.
- Building and supporting integrations with REST APIs and enterprise platforms.
- Developing, customizing, and optimizing Collibra workflows within our data management ecosystem.
- Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, data experts, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Supporting metadata management, data cataloging, business glossary, and data governance initiatives.
- Contributing to platform improvements, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- Analyzing complex technical environments and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Participating in solution design, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key competences that will help you succeed:
- Proven experience as a Python Developer in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience designing and integrating solutions using REST APIs.
- Solid working knowledge of Linux environments.
- You are eager to learn new platforms and technologies and can quickly become productive in specialized enterprise solutions such as Collibra.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to quickly understand complex systems and architectures.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Fluency in English.
A significant advantage would be to have:
- Experience with Collibra or other Data Governance/Data Management platforms.
- Knowledge of Groovy scripting.
- Experience with Java development.
- Understanding of metadata management, data catalogs, data lineage, and data governance principles.
- Experience working within enterprise data management or Master Data Management initiatives.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
