Senior / Lead DevSecOps Engineer

Role Summary

We are looking for a senior DevSecOps leader to own and evolve our DevOps and platform engineering function. This role will define our infrastructure, security, and deployment strategy across Perkbox & Vivup, enabling engineering teams to ship faster, safer, and at scale. To be successful, you’ll have:

7–10+ years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering / SRE

Experience owning DevOps/platform capabilities within a product company

Strong cloud architecture experience (AWS preferred), including Kubernetes and AWS Lambda

Proficiency with Azure and Windows Server environments

Solid understanding of IAM and SAML/SSO protocols

Strong attention to detail with a security-first mindset and good documentation practices

Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with highly technical teams

What you will own

Security posture across the SDLC

DevOps and platform strategy across all products

CI/CD standards and overall developer experience

Cloud architecture across AWS / GCP / Azure

Reliability, observability, and incident response practices

Cost optimisation (FinOps mindset)

Key responsibilities

Define and implement an end-to-end DevSecOps strategy (beyond just pipelines)

Establish security-by-default practices across engineering

The Interview Process

Our interview process involves 4 main stages:

Screening (30–45 mins)

Technical Deep Dive (60 mins)

Practical / Take-home OR Live Exercise (90 mins)
