Esther Viswas

Hi, I am Esther Sarah Viswas, a recent Interior Design graduate from the Manipal School of Architecture and Planning. I am passionate about creating functional and visually engaging spaces, with a strong foundation in conceptual sketching, space planning, 3D modeling, and team collaboration developed through my academic and internship journey.

I have applied these skills across diverse projects, including residential, retail, healthcare, and corporate environments. Working in teams has strengthened my ability to contribute effectively, ensuring seamless collaboration and cohesive outcomes.

In addition to my design capabilities, I am proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape for renderings, Photoshop (basic), Illustrator (basic), and Microsoft PowerPoint. I am eager to expand my expertise further by collaborating with an experienced team, bringing dedication, creativity, and a passion for design to every project.

Beyond academics, I gained hands-on creative exposure through a fashion visual merchandise display for my college and the set design for AVANT23, enhancing my ability to merge design with storytelling. I also presented my dissertation project, “Multisensory Interiors in a Preschool Environment,” at the Manipal Research Colloquium (MRC) 2023, reflecting my research-oriented approach.

During my 6-month internship with Gayathri and Namith Architects, Bangalore, I gained valuable professional experience in working drawings, furniture intent drawings, realistic renderings, material exploration, and the design process. I also had the opportunity to interact with clients and strengthen my teamwork and communication skills, while further exploring my interest in photography and visualization.
