Mashaal Farraj

I am a dedicated Secondary Science Teacher specializing in Physics, Biology, and Chemistry for Grades 6-13. I hold a BSc with Honours in Biomedical Science and a PGCE in Secondary Education Biology. Currently, I am expanding my pedagogical expertise as a PhD student in Interdisciplinary Education at the University of Dundee.

My teaching approach relies on cognitive learning theory; I act as a facilitator to encourage independent, student-led knowledge intake and develop a scientific mindset. My ultimate goal is to nurture successful, lifelong learners equipped with resilience, responsibility, rationality, reflection, and resourcefulness. Outside the classroom, I am passionate about athletics and instruct Mujitsu, a hybrid martial arts style I developed.

I am also a founder of developing and training teachers in AI education.
