DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps Engineer (Part-Time) – LATAMRemote | Contractor | AWS Environment IT Tech Hub is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer based in LATAM to join one of our US-based clients on a part-time remote engagement.

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps professional with strong AWS experience who can help build, optimize, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This is a great opportunity to work with modern technologies, collaborate with international teams, and contribute to high-impact projects in a flexible remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure in AWS.

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to support efficient deployments and development workflows.

• Manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform.

• Monitor system performance, reliability, and security across environments.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve scalability, automation, and operational efficiency.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues in production and staging environments.

• Support best practices around DevOps, cloud architecture, monitoring, and security.

• Participate in infrastructure planning and technical decision-making.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud environments.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools and automation practices.

• Experience working with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.

• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud best practices.

• Advanced English communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with US-based clients or distributed teams.

• Experience with GCP or Azure environments.

• Exposure to security-focused environments or compliance-driven projects.

• Scripting experience with Bash or Python.
