About the PositionAs a DevRel at Azion, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with developer communities while driving product adoption through high-quality technical content, education, and engagement.This is a highly hands-on role, combining technical documentation, tutorials, and developer-facing content with community management, advocacy, and feedback loops.
Your work will ensure that developers can successfully understand, adopt, and scale their use of our platform in a self-service way.Beyond documentation, you will act as a bridge between developers and internal teams, translating real-world feedback into product insights and helping communicate product capabilities through talks, content, events, and community initiatives.You will be part of the Product Marketing team, working closely with Product Engineering, Marketing, and Support to align community engagement, technical accuracy, and product adoption strategies.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeveloper Adoption Through Technical Content: Own the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, tutorials, code samples, learning materials, and reference guides that enable self-service adoption, reduce onboarding friction, and accelerate time-to-value.Community Engagement & Relationship Management: Own the management and growth of Azions developer community across forums, social channels, events, and direct interactions, fostering trust, engagement, and long-term advocacy.Developer Advocacy & Feedback Loop: Own the collection, analysis, and internal communication of developer feedback, pain points, and use cases to support continuous product improvement and roadmap alignment.Technical Evangelism &
Education: Own the production and delivery of technical talks, workshops, webinars, demos, blog posts, and learning sessions that promote best practices and showcase platform capabilities.Content Quality & Developer Experience Governance: Own documentation standards, validation processes, and publishing workflows to ensure technical accuracy, reliability, and consistency of all developer-facing content, being accountable for its impact on user experience, adoption, and support volume.
Required QualificationsStrong technical understanding of how modern web applications work, including protocols, architectures, and common infrastructure components.Solid knowledge of web development and frameworks, with the ability to build, test, and validate real code examples and integrations.Previous experience working with development teams and/or SaaS/PaaS technology products.Proven experience producing technical documentation, tutorials, and developer-facing content.Experience engaging with developer community, users, or technical audiences through events, forums, social platforms, or support channels.Excellent technical communication and writing skills in English and Portuguese, with AI assistance for research, drafting, and validation.Fluent English for engaging with developer communities.
Preferred QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience with Git and docs-as-code workflows for managing technical and community content at scale.Experience working with distributed systems, serverless architectures, or cloud platforms.Experience producing technical audiovisual content, such as demos, walkthroughs, and instructional videos.Experience participating in or organizing developer events, meetups, hackathons, or online communities.Experience applying SEO/GEO/AEO and content optimization practices to technical and community-facing content.
