Full Stack Developer (.NET)

SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack .NET Developer to join TXP and work across a range of internal and customer-facing digital projects.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you will design, build, enhance and support modern applications using the Microsoft technology stack, alongside React or other modern JavaScript frameworks.

You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle; from technical design and development through testing, deployment and production support; while working within collaborative Agile engineering teams.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:

As part of an agile software development team, you will:

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality applications using C# and the Microsoft technology stack.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and services.
• Develop modern front-end applications using React or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Work with SQL Server and data-driven applications.
• Design and develop solutions using microservices architectures.
• Build and deploy applications within Azure environments.
• Work with containerisation technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Contribute throughout the full development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, defect resolution and deployment.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning and iterative delivery.
• Apply development best practices including TDD, Continuous Integration, unit testing, performance testing and security testing.
• Take ownership of the quality and delivery of your work.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, technical stakeholders and customers.
• Identify technical risks and contribute to effective solutions.
• Support and mentor junior developers and other members of the engineering team.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering standards, practices and team capability.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Strong commercial experience as a .NET / Full Stack Developer.
• Extensive hands-on experience with C# and Microsoft technologies.
• Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with API Management (APIM).
• Strong working knowledge of SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with Azure.
• Good working knowledge of React or another modern JavaScript framework.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• Experience with modern build and deployment tooling.
• Good understanding of software design principles, implementation and deployment.
• Experience working within Scrum/Agile engineering environments.
• Understanding of TDD, Continuous Integration and automated testing practices.
• Experience with unit, performance and security testing.
• Ability to understand how individual components interact within a wider technology ecosystem.
• Strong focus on code quality, maintainability and engineering best practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
