We are looking for Java Developer who wants to learn and transform his career. This role is critical to enhancing the ecommerce experience for professionals purchasing contact lenses, ensuring seamless integration across systems like SAP, Salesforce (SFDC), Relito, 3rd Rewards system, and others. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Commercial Marketing, Customer Service and Core Services to build robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications for the ACUVUE Checkout system.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Implement data capture mechanisms for customer and patient information during checkout.

Integrate with external systems such as SAP.

Ensure secure handling of sensitive data including order confirmations and patient records.

Monitor and optimize system performance using operational reports and analytics.

Provide technical support and resolve issues related to the ordering process.

Mandatory Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Proficiency in database systems (MySQL, Oracle).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Hibernate ORM.
• Familiarity with WebLogic Server, Struts Framework, JSP/Servlets, XML, EJB.
