In this role, you will design and maintain scalable backend services and APIs, leveraging cloud infrastructure to support high-load production systems and complex media workflows. By delivering high-quality technical solutions and optimizing application performance, you will play an essential part in driving the digital presence of world-class media brands and contributing to Sunbytes’ ongoing success.

• *Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure backend services leveraging cloud infrastructure.
• Architect and implement robust APIs for seamless integration with web and mobile clients.
• Maintain and debug existing Node.js services, including legacy Hapi.js and modern AWS Lambda functions.
• Handle production issues, ongoing bug fixes, and work with complex MySQL data models.
• Support asynchronous, event-driven behavior to ensure system reliability
• Enhance and optimize front-end web applications using modern JavaScript standards.
• Partner with product, design, and brand stakeholders to provide accurate technical estimates and delivery schedules.
• Maintain high code quality by adhering to industry-leading engineering best practices.
• Streamline CI/CD pipelines to facilitate efficient, automated deployment processes.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize existing code within high-load, production environments.
• *Requirements
• Minimum
• *5 years of experience**

as a Full-Stack Web Engineer.

• Proven track record in architecture and building highly scalable
• *APIs**

• *web services.
• Hands-on experience with Hapi.js and AWS Lambda
• Deep understanding of complex MySQL data models and event-driven architecture
• Proficiency in web application testing methodologies to ensure code reliability and security.
• Demonstrated experience with subscription and user profile management systems.

3rd-party ad integration tools.

• Languages, Frameworks & Runtime: JavaScript (Node.js, ES6), Express, React, Serverless Framework
• Databases: Relational databases, specifically AWS RDS (MySQL).
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS (EC2, Lambda, CloudFront, WAF, CloudWatch), Git
• Good English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with international stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
