Senior Python Data Engineer - Remote work

In this role, you'll build customer-facing data apps and dashboards entirely in Python, using tools like Streamlit and Dash rather than traditional JavaScript-based frontend frameworks. Working on production applications that external users actually depend on, you'll connect well-modeled data to interfaces that need to be reliable, fast, and genuinely usable. This is your opportunity to specialize in Python-native data applications, combining strong data engineering fundamentals with real product ownership for customer-facing tools.

What You'll Do

• Build customer-facing dashboards and data apps using Streamlit and Dash.
• Design and maintain production data applications used directly by external customers.
• Model data using star schema principles and write efficient SQL.
• Integrate applications with REST APIs to power live, data-driven features.

What We Are Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in software or data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Streamlit and Dash.
• Proven experience building customer-facing dashboards, not internal prototypes.
• Production experience with customer-facing data applications.
• Experience with star schema data modeling and SQL.
• Experience with REST API integration.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Nice To Have

• Experience with Databricks, including Apps, Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, or Unity Catalog.
• Familiarity with Spark.
