Description

We’re looking for a senior backend Python engineer to join our team and help build scalable data and automation systems for global clients.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working on complex backend systems - designing data pipelines, integrating APIs, and building reliable, production-grade services that support real-world business workflows.

You’ll work on projects involving data processing, system integrations, and automation, often in environments where requirements are evolving and strong engineering judgment is essential.

What You’ll Do

Design and build backend systems using Python

Develop and maintain data pipelines and integrations with third-party APIs

Work with structured and unstructured data across multiple sources

Contribute to system architecture decisions and scalability improvements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability of production systems

Requirements

Must Have:

5+ years of experience in backend development

Strong Python experience in production environments

Experience building data pipelines, integrations, or ETL workflows

Solid understanding of APIs, async processing, and system design

Experience working with cloud environments (AWS preferred)

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Professional English communication skills

Nice to Have:

Experience with data processing, reporting systems, or analytics workflows

Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot)

Familiarity with distributed systems or high-concurrency environments

Exposure to SQL and data modeling

Consulting or client-facing experience
