Software Engineer (Elastic Stack) at BairesDev

As a Software Engineer specializing in the Elastic Stack, you will run and optimize ELK clusters to power log aggregation, search, and real-time analytics. You will provide engineering teams with a high-performance data platform while managing the complexities of large-scale indexing and cluster health.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable Elasticsearch architectures for high-volume log ingestion and search.
• Configure and tune Logstash pipelines to efficiently process and transform diverse data streams.
• Build and maintain Kibana dashboards to provide real-time visibility into system performance and operational metrics.
• Manage the full index lifecycle, including sharding strategies, mapping optimizations, and data retention policies.
• Monitor and scale Elasticsearch clusters to ensure high availability and sub-second query performance.

What we are looking for

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Observability, or Infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in running and optimizing the ELK stack for log aggregation and search.
• Proficiency in managing Elasticsearch cluster scaling and index lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with Logstash, Kibana, and Beats for real-time analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
