André Cézar Gomes Ferreira

Hello! My name is André Cézar and I live in São Paulo, Brazil. I'm a 2D freelance artist who creates illustrations and concept artworks for games and animation. I usually work designing 2D game assets and environment concepts, but I'm also available for character illustrations and paintings.

I have worked as an Art Assistant and Junior Art Director for Advertisement & Publicity agencies since 2013. In 2017, I found out about te concept art & illustration industry, and decided to start studying to become a fulltime 2D artist, and definitelly change my working focus. In 2019, I quit my job at Heal Marketing agency and moved to Vancouver, Canada for 6 months, in order to study arts at Vancouver Film School. I have been working as a 2D freelance artist since then.

Studying arts at Vancouver Film School has given me much more confidence and helped me to better understand how the Illustration and concept art industry actually works.
