I am a chemical engineer with a master’s degree in materials engineering, I have been working in research materials science for fifteen years.
I earn skills on special high-performance polymers for high temperatures and high pressures used on oilfields when I worked at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro supported Petrobras projects. I worked on testing and evaluating polymers used as pressure barrier on flexible risers and composites used to repair pipelines, thermal and mechanical degradation of this material at high pressure and high temperature, oil and biodiesel, those materials come from Solvay and Arkema companies, and there began my contact with abroad scientific researchers of those companies, changing information and discussing experimental results.
Because of this background, I was ridden to work on NOV flexibles, expanding 3 months at Kalumburg and Copenhagen cities, in Denmark.
In June of 2013, I joined GE Global Research in Rio de Janeiro, as Research Engineer at Offshore and Subsea Systems, first, and after a while, I was working with all the different businesses of GE Company, as a researcher engineer that looked for solutions for improvement of GE multiple activities and manufactures, delivering improvements on their materials performances.
