Currently the lead engineer of Avalia Solar, a B2B SaaS marketplace for Brazil's solar energy market. I've designed and built the entire Rails backend from scratch: a proprietary Trust Score algorithm that ranks companies algorithmically, asynchronous data pipelines with Sidekiq and Redis, RESTful APIs consumed by a Next.js frontend, and PostgreSQL optimization with JSONB, compound indexes, and EXPLAIN ANALYZE-driven query tuning.

On the infrastructure side, I manage zero-downtime deployments with Kamal and Docker on AWS EC2, monitor production with Sentry and CloudWatch, and own the full reliability lifecycle — from database migrations to on-call incident response.

Built and operate a production B2B SaaS marketplace for Brazil's solar energy sector — serving as the sole technical owner of the platform end-to-end.

• Designed and implemented a proprietary Trust Score algorithm in Ruby on Rails, combining review signals, verification badges, and user intent data into a composite 0–100 score updated asynchronously via Sidekiq workers
• Built the full backend API layer with Rails API mode, PostgreSQL (JSONB columns, GIN indexes, compound indexes), and jsonapi-serializer
• Architected an Intent Scoring system using exponential decay weighting to qualify leads by behavioral signals — processing async events into confidence scores stored in JSONB
• Implemented social authentication (Google, LinkedIn, GitHub) and company verification workflows
• Managed zero-downtime deployments to AWS EC2 with Kamal and Docker, Nginx/Puma configuration, and SSL termination
