Hi! I'm Henrique, I graduated in agronomic engineering at UFPR and today I'm doing a postgraduate course in engineering management at UFPR. Although my formation is focused on agribusiness, I decided that I would like to pursue an administrative career.
One of the decision gates I had was still in college, when I decided to open a company delivering organic products. At first, my goal was financial, but what I learned in 5 years at the company exceeded financial expectations. I learned about how to manage a company, contact with suppliers, customers, costs, and negotiation skills.
In my career, I've always worked in the back office of companies, today my job is in the financial area at a Startup, I work with the accounts receivable and accounts payable teams and also with the purchasing sector. I believe that engineering brought me a systemic ability to read processes, to which I adapt quickly.
I always try to incorporate tools into my day-to-day life, to generate more value at work. thereby generating greater productivity. I like to use the term “small victories” in processes, because as soon as several small projects succeed, the big goals and results become more solid.
I started working with accounts receivable in the companies I worked for before, although my background is in Agronomy, I was always more connected with the administrative sector of companies.
Currently I work with processes and continuous improvements. My day is separated by the development of financial processes with accounts payable, receivable, refunds, purchases, suppliers, in all these cases I work with the teams to understand the processes and look for ways to deliver more value in less time, without compromising quality.
I like to use tools like Workato and Zapier to improve repetitive tasks and make them more agile. I've done work where we've improved activity time by more than 70%.
I believe that when we make continuous improvements, we make room for those who are in the area, on a daily basis, to understand that they can also find better solutions for their activities.
I have a degree in Agronomic Engineering at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), today I am also doing a postgraduate course in engineering management at UFPR.
In June I did an immersion and two courses with an emphasis on Agile and Project Manager at the University of Westminster in London, to improve my project delivery capacity.
