Android Developer - Intermediate

Our Client is one of the fastest-growing companies in BC and is a leader in their industry. They are looking for a Senior iOS Mobile Developer to join their team. This role will be working on an end-user app (used by over hundreds of thousands users) as well as a Software Development Kit (used by thousandss of companies). So you'll be developing something that other developers will use! This role is open to remote candidates in Canada.

Your Role

• Developing and implementing new features and improving existing features of a Software Developer Kit and end-user app
• Design and develop sample code, and contribute to technical documentation 
• Interact with customers (developers) who seek solutions to their inquiries

You Have:

• A degree in computer science 
• 1+ years of native Android development using Java or Kotlin
• 2-5 years experience developing complex software projects and applications
• Comfortable with Android Studio and gradle build system
• Strong understanding of Google’s Android design principles, interface guidelines, and best practices
• In-depth understanding of Android framework components and respective life cycles.
• Have contributed to an app that has been published in the App Store.
