Android Developer

Description

Solidy is looking for a mid-senior Android Developer who can build and maintain functional applications across Android-based devices and help us attract our target audience. The candidate would require to design, develop and test Android applications for a vast number of diverse Android devices and their integration with the back-end services.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for Android devices on the Android platform,
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications,
• Maintain code integrity, quality, organization, and automatization,
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance,
• Design application updates over the period,
• Go through the trending applications in the market and implement new technologies accordingly to increase efficiency,
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency,
• Work closely with project managers in an agile environment.

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or related field,
• 3-6 years of Android OS development experience,

Jetpack compose

• Layouts (Column, Row, Box, Constraintlayout)
• Modifier, compose animations

Design system in Compose

• Text and Typography in Compose

• Experience with Kotlin, Java programming languages,
• Knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android,
• Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices,
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON,
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines,

Excellent knowledge of Russian

• Good time-management skills,
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills,
• Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize personal workload.
