Back End Developer

Job Description:Our valued client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join their team and support the maintenance, enhancement, and ongoing development of our internal systems and web-based applications. This role is ideal for a senior-level developer who is comfortable working across the full technology stack, with a stronger emphasis on backend development and database management.You will play a key role in evolving in-house web-based software solutions while ensuring stability, scalability, and performance across their systems.Requirements:Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance internal web-based applications and systems.
• Work primarily within an in-house application built using VB.NET and C#.
• Design, develop, and implement new features and functionality.
• Maintain and update existing software through amendments, optimizations, and bug fixes.
• Write efficient, scalable, and testable backend code.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures.
• Contribute to front-end components including report design and scripting.
• Design and integrate APIs and web services.
• Follow the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including:

Requirements analysis

Technical documentation

• Validation & verification

Testing and quality assurance

• Apply best practices in coding standards, version control, and system architecture.

Backend & Core Technologies

• Visual Studio .NET (C#, VB.NET)
• SQL Server (database design, queries, performance tuning)
• API and Web Services development

Front-End Technologies

Bootstrap

• Front-end scripting and report design

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend programming and database development expertise.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing legacy systems while building new functionality.
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a collaborative development team environment.
