This is a contract - remote role for a Cloud Engineer located in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Cloud Engineer will design and implement cloud-based systems, maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure, and deploy software applications in cloud environments.
Additional responsibilities include managing infrastructure, ensuring system security and performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business goals.
Strong understanding of Cloud Computing concepts and hands-on experience with cloud platforms
Proficiency in Infrastructure management and Linux administration
Experience with Software Development and integration in cloud environments
Knowledge of Databases and their management in a cloud context
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently as well as within a team
Relevant certifications, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications, are a plus A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
