You Are

We are seeking experienced Cloud Solution Architects (Band C2) to lead and support large scale cloud architecture and migration initiatives for US based client engagements.

The Opportunity

Define and own cloud architecture and migration strategies, translating business and technical requirements into scalable target state designs.

Design end to end cloud solutions, including compute, storage, networking, security, and identity components.

Lead and support data and application migration planning and execution, including dependency mapping and migration sequencing.

Design and validate networking architectures, including hybrid connectivity, segmentation, routing, and traffic management.

Architect and enforce cloud security models, ensuring alignment with enterprise security policies and compliance requirements.

Define and support Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, including resiliency, high availability, recovery objectives, and test readiness.

Plan and execute cutover strategies, ensuring minimal business disruption during migration or go live events.

Networking & Security Expertise

Hybrid connectivity, network segmentation, and cloud security controls

Data & Application Migration

Large scale enterprise data and application migration experience

Disaster Recovery (DR) & Cutover Strategy

DR design, readiness, and migration cutover planning

Strong understanding of enterprise cloud operating models and governance

Experience & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or Senior Cloud Architect in enterprise or consulting environments

Strong background supporting large scale cloud migration and modernization programs

Hands-on experience designing secure, resilient, and highly available cloud architectures

Ability to work directly with client stakeholders and provide architecture leadership in on site engagements

Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to Have

Experience working in regulated or large enterprise US client environments

Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures

Prior involvement in data center exit or large transformation programs

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote-Canada

Compensation Range: $139,000-$174,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year). They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Part-time regular and temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All Canadian employees who work in a province, territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
