Data Analyst

Our client in the insurance space is seeking a contract based

• *Business Systems Analyst**

to support ongoing data extract operations, enhancements, and issue resolution, working closely with developers, database analysts, and stakeholders in a Kanban delivery model.

Location: Remote, with potential to move to hybrid in month 3

Duration: 6 months

• *Responsibilities
• Gather and document requirements for
• *new data extracts and enhancements to existing extracts
• Analyze and troubleshoot
• *data extract issues**

including validation errors, execution failures, timing, and delivery

• Collaborate with developers and DBAs to
• *optimize query performance and extract efficiency
• Support ongoing
• *application and data extract operations

within defined SLAs and timelines

• Ensure proper
• *logging, monitoring, and notification mechanisms**

are implemented and maintained

• Participate in
• *Agile/Kanban ceremonies**

and contribute to backlog refinement and prioritization

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure
• *accurate and timely data delivery
• *Requirements
• 5+ years of experience as a
• *Business Analyst/Data Analyst**

in data-focused environments

• Strong hands-on experience with
• *SQL, databases, and data modeling
• Experience working with
• *ETL tools and data extract processes
• Proven experience in
• *application support and production issue troubleshooting
• Solid understanding of
• *Agile methodologies

, particularly

• *Kanban
• Experience working with
• *SLAs, deadlines, and operational support environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• *Nice-to-Have:
• Experience with
• *SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
• Familiarity with

or similar managed file transfer tools

• Experience working in similar environments or alongside comparable profiles (e.g., senior data BAs)
