About the Opportunity

Our client, a respected public sector organization, is seeking a Data & Analytics Architect to support a growing Cyber Strategy and Awareness team. This role sits at the intersection of data, security, and innovation, where your work will directly influence how data is leveraged to strengthen cyber resilience and decision-making.

You will collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and architect across modern analytics platforms. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape data strategy, enable responsible AI, and empower teams through advanced analytics and automation.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll lead end-to-end data architecture across Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Copilot Studio, from ingestion to reporting and governance
  • In this role, you’ll design and deliver high-impact dashboards and semantic models using advanced DAX and performance optimization techniques
  • You’ll build and integrate Copilot Studio agents to automate workflows and enable data-driven insights
  • You’ll implement secure API integrations, including authentication, pagination, and data refresh strategies
  • You’ll promote responsible AI practices, ensuring data readiness and alignment with governance standards
  • You’ll mentor team members and contribute to a community of practice, strengthening analytics capabilities across the division

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5 years of advanced experience in Power BI modeling, DAX, performance tuning, and governance
  • 5 years of experience working with APIs for analytics, including authentication and data handling
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Fabric tools such as Workspaces, Pipelines, and OneLake
  • 2 years of experience designing Copilot Studio agents and integrating Power Platform tools
  • Experience with RTI, KQL, and alerting mechanisms
  • Proven experience in a technical leadership or community of practice role
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts to diverse audiences
