We’re hiring: Data Engineer

This role is a great opportunity to grow into a subject matter expert in data management and database optimization within a cloud-based, high-scale environment. You’ll be working alongside a team of diverse technologists, contributing to a robust infrastructure that supports high-volume payment processing and data-driven innovation.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and optimizing database schemas for scalability and performance
• Managing ETL processes and data lake environments
• Collaborating with development teams to ensure efficient data architecture
• Supporting data ingestion, extraction, and integration across platforms
• Driving improvements in system reliability, resiliency, and data protection

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Database Administration, or similar
• Strong expertise in MySQL and SQL optimization
• Experience with ETL pipelines and data warehousing
• Exposure to AWS (Lambda, Redshift, DMS) and Apache tools (Airflow, Kafka, Superset)
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL migrations is a plus
• Curiosity, ownership, and strong communication skills
