Job Title: Data Engineer

Exp. Required: 8+ years

Job Summary:

• Experience in the insurance industry and ability to understand underwriting data terminology.
• Experience supporting finance systems.
• Proven experience as an ETL Developer using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica BDM.
• Proven experience as a Database Developer, with hands-on experience writing DDL and DML statements for relational databases.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries for ad hoc reporting.
• Experience with automation tools such as Control-M and ASG Zena.
• Experience writing Unix scripts.
• Experience with reporting tools such as SAP BusinessObjects and Qlik.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Agile methodology and JIRA.
• Above-average communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in drafting and comprehending business requirements documents.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
